CBEST
- The California Basic
Educational Skills Test is REQUIRED of all California educators. It is designed to
test basic proficiency in three areas:
1) Reading comprehension,
2)
Essay writing, and
3) Mathematics.
The CBEST is given six times a
year throughout CA. and only once outside of CA. each April. Out of state
licensed/credentialed applicants have one year to take and pass this test if
hired in CA.
